01General provisions

These Terms govern the use of BadPanda — a Telegram bot that processes photographs with neural networks. The service is operated by the entity named in the “Company details” section of the public offer.

The Terms are accepted in full. Any use of the service constitutes acceptance: starting the bot, sending a photo, or paying for a render pack. If you disagree with any clause, do not use the service.

Throughout this document, a “render” means one run of any of the service’s features, and a “result” means the file the bot returns to the chat.

02Who may use the service

The service is intended for adults. By starting to use the bot you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

Access requires an active Telegram account. No separate sign-up, app install or document submission is needed.

You are responsible for actions taken under your account. If someone else gains access to it, tell support and we will suspend rendering.

03What the service does

The service offers three features: photo animation — assembling a short video from a single frame, virtual clothing try-on, and changing your look, meaning moving a face into a different scene.

Processing is automatic, with no human involvement. The result is returned to the same Telegram chat the source file came from.

We may change the set of features, the look catalogue and model parameters while preserving the overall purpose of the service. Significant changes are announced in the Telegram channel.

04Which photos you may upload

You may upload your own photographs, as well as photographs of other people where those people have consented to their image being processed in this way.

By sending a file you confirm that you hold the necessary rights to the image and that processing it does not infringe the rights of third parties.

The user is responsible for the content of uploaded files and for obtaining any required consent.

05What is prohibited

You may not upload photographs of other people without their consent, any images of minors, 18+ material, or images depicting violence or inciting hatred.

You may not use results to mislead others: presenting generated material as a genuine photograph in disputes, documents, advertising or news reports, or creating material that damages the honour and dignity of the people in the shot.

You may not circumvent the service’s technical limits, automate requests with third-party tools, resell access to the bot, or scrape the service’s data.

Some prohibited requests are blocked automatically. Automatic blocking is not an exhaustive check and does not relieve the user of responsibility for the material they upload.

06Renders, the free allowance and retries

The first three renders are free and are returned with a watermark. Subsequent renders are deducted from a paid pack or provided under a subscription.

Paid packs have no expiry date. A subscription runs for 30 calendar days from payment and does not renew automatically.

If a result does not work for you, use the “Run again” button. The first two attempts on each request do not use up paid renders.

07Rights to images and results

You keep the rights to your source photographs. By uploading a file you grant the service a limited licence: to store and process the image solely in order to fulfil your request and deliver the result.

The licence lasts for the storage period and ends when the files are deleted. We do not publish your photographs, do not pass them to third parties, and do not use them to train models.

The result belongs to you. The service claims no rights to the files you receive and does not restrict their use within the law and these Terms.

08Quality limits

Neural network output is probabilistic: two runs on the same frame can produce different results.

Likeness is higher on front-facing shots under even light and drops on profile shots, in heavy shadow, and below 512 pixels on the short side. Fine detail — hands, jewellery, complex prints — is reproduced approximately.

The service does not guarantee a specific degree of likeness and does not consider claims regarding the artistic quality of a result. Technical failures where a result was not delivered are handled by support.

09Suspension and termination of access

We may restrict or terminate access to the service if these Terms are breached — first and foremost where prohibited material is uploaded.

Where access is restricted for a breach, unused renders are not refunded. If we discontinue the service on our own initiative, unused renders and the unexpired part of a subscription are refunded on request to support.

10Liability

The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation: maintenance windows and queue delays are possible.

We are not responsible for how you use the results you receive, or for the consequences of publishing them.

The operator’s liability is limited to the value of services you paid for in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11Changes, governing law and disputes

We may amend these Terms. The current version is published on this page and its date is shown above. Continuing to use the service after a new version is published constitutes acceptance of it.

The relationship between the parties is governed by the law of the Russian Federation. The parties will seek to resolve disputes in correspondence: a claim is sent to the support email address and is considered within 10 business days.
